Partnerships
For processors, acquirers and settlement providers
A proposed relationship, described plainly. No processor, acquirer or commercial agreement is in place.
Canadian launch
Orion proposes to launch with Canadian merchants first. Supported jurisdictions will follow the provider's own country support.
Intended merchant segments
General e-commerce, software and digital services, and research-use-only peptide suppliers — disclosed openly and subject to each provider's acceptance.
Merchant onboarding
Orion collects business identity, ownership, actual products, website readiness, processing history and settlement preferences through a structured wizard, with review checklists and explainable risk flags.
Provider review
Orion prepares complete applications. The provider makes every underwriting decision; Orion records decisions with evidence and never presents its own review as provider approval.
Direct merchant settlement
Where the provider supports it, funds settle directly from the provider to the merchant's verified destination. Orion does not pool merchant funds without an explicitly approved arrangement.
Operational responsibilities
Orion can operate onboarding, merchant communications, reconciliation, refund and dispute workflows, and audit logging. Exact division of responsibilities is set by contract.
Technical integration
Adapter-based integration supporting API, hosted or manual onboarding; signed webhooks; idempotent requests; reconciliation polling. Only documented provider functionality is used.
Open commercial questions
Pricing, reserves, settlement timing, platform versus merchant-owned accounts, liability allocation and regulatory responsibilities remain open for discussion.
Orion's approval by a provider would not approve any merchant. A shared platform integration is used only where the provider expressly supports that arrangement. Read the referral partner draft or contact us about partnerships.
