Current position

• No processor, acquiring bank, licence, registration, insurance or commercial agreement is confirmed.
• Whether Orion's activities require FINTRAC money services business registration, or registration under the Bank of Canada's Retail Payment Activities Act, is being assessed.

What registration means

Registration with a regulator is not a licence, an endorsement or a guarantee. A provider's registration does not extend to Orion.

Live activation

Live processing will remain disabled until business identity, agreements, provider approval for the exact merchant and flow, verified settlement destinations, operational security controls, integration tests, authenticated webhooks, reconciliation and applicable legal requirements are all in place.
